If you are thinking of being an associate, thinking of bringing an associate in to your practice, or if you are currently an associate dentist this episode is for you. After one year of working as associates Big Joe, John Wesley, and Scotty break down everything they wish they had done BEFORE they signed their contracts.

In this episode Big Joe talks about why it is SO IMPORTANT to make sure you are getting paid based on adjusted production and NOT collections. We take a look at his contract he signed while we was still in dental school and go over some key things that he could have done differently to put him in a better spot today. Scotty compares his two associateships and tells us why he had to go through some hard times to get to where he is now (a South Georgia mansion). John Wesley shares insights on his transition from being an associate to co-owner of the same office, and now having an associate working for him and his business partner.

This episode is intense and is one that you HAVE to hear before you sign a contract.

On this weeks episode, the Life and Dentistry crew sat down with none other than the host of the Millennial Dentist Podcast, Dr. Richard Sullivan AKA Sully Sullivan!

We covered everything from our transition of being associates to practice owners, all the way to breaking down how to handle the pressure of being a "millennial dentist". Whether you are new to dentistry, or have been practicing for years, this is one episode that you do not want to miss. Everyone on every level can learn something from this.

This episode was recorded for Dr. Sully's podcast, and it was so good, that we had to release it on ours as well!
